Trust and safety

What “verified” means on MyStayPMS

Verification is a set of checks, not a guarantee that every stay will be risk-free. This page explains the controls MyStayPMS applies and the checks guests should still make before paying.

Contact verification

New agency and operator accounts verify their email and WhatsApp contact details before completing onboarding.

Account review

New business accounts remain under review before they can proceed through the normal activation workflow.

Listing approval

Only properties marked for public listing and approved for publication are eligible to appear in public search.

What verification does not mean

MyStayPMS does not claim that contact verification proves ownership, that a listing approval predicts every future guest experience, or that a displayed host rating applies when no genuine review record exists. Property availability, condition, payment instructions, house rules, and booking terms can change.

Guests should confirm the exact unit, dates, complete price, payment recipient, cancellation terms, deposit terms, arrival process, and the person responsible during the stay.

Before sending money

  • Keep the listing URL and written booking terms.
  • Confirm that the offered unit matches the photos and description.
  • Verify any change of phone number or payment recipient through the original contact route.
  • Read the mobile-money confirmation before approving it and never disclose a PIN.
  • Save the check-in and support contacts before travelling.

Report a concern

Send the listing URL, dates, contact details used, a concise description, and supporting screenshots to info@mystaypms.com. Do not email passwords, PINs, full card details, or unnecessary identity documents.

For suspected payment fraud, contact the relevant payment provider using its official reporting channel as soon as possible.
